A microsite is a small website dedicated to a single product. It can be as small or elaborate as you like, but the focus on the product remains constant. Microsites could include reviews and testimonials, but regardless of content, there should be a call to action and a way to make a purchase directly from the site if it makes sense for the product in question. For example, it makes sense for a book, but doesn’t make sense for a car. If the purchase can’t be made right there, the call to action might be to call or to use a contact form.
